The House

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath, ranch home is located in beautiful Weeki Wachee Gardens in West Central Florida near Florida's Nature Coast just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. The home provides direct access to the Great Cypress and Magnolia canals and a short kayak ride to the crystal clear Weeki Wachee River. The canals and river are teeming with Manatee and fish, and you'll be amazed listening to and watching our bird friends. For your enjoyment, the grounds are planted with flora that attract hummingbirds and Monarch butterflies. Additionally there are a few herbs growing out back, feel free to use what you need for your cooking pleasure. For your enjoyment the home offers a screened salt water pool and lanai, a boat dock, six kayaks and a paver fire pit. There are also board games (located in the cabinet in the entry) and free Wi-Fi for the occasional rainy day. 

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, flatware, cookware and just about any other kinda ware you can think of. There are three ways to make coffee; French Press, drip and Nespresso traditional (mini). There will be a starter supply for each type plus single serve sugar and half-n-half. Additionally, a three door frig, full size stove and sink with garbage disposal. A second refrigerator/freezer will be found in the garage.

The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer with a few laundry pods, though you might want to bring or buy more of your own depending on your laundry needs. There is also a wall mounted ironing board and iron.

The property provides secure parking for at lease three cars and you'll still have room to park your RV or boat trailer.

There are six kayaks racked for your use out by the boat launch; Three adult sit-on, two adult sit-in (one rated up to 275 pounds) and one youth sit on kayak. You’ll find paddles and life vests in the garage plus a number of fishing rods and tackle that you are free to use during your stay here. Additionally, there is space by the boat launch to safely park a boat trailer or RV with preapproval by the owner. Also, for the paddle board enthusiast just up the canal is SUP Weeki, paddle board lessons and rental with Pam and Jerry (call 727-480-4294 or text 352-540-5985). Give them a call and they'll deliver a rental board right to your boat ramp. There's a beautiful Weber gas grill with grilling tools and a full tank of gas for you use (if you run out of gas there are tank exchanges at Home Depot, Lowes and the Dollar Store, all within 6 miles of the property). Out back is a large fire pit down at the point patio. You'll find tools and firewood for your first pit fire located just inside the back garage door. If you need additional firewood there is a road side self serve firewood stand located approximately 1.5 miles (5 minutes) from the house at 6023 Cofer Road, Spring Hills, FL (GPS).

Back in the house the main bedroom and second guest bedroom each have a queen size bed. The front bedroom suite has a queen size bed plus a fold out queen size sofa bed. There are USB and AC outlets at each bedside. All three bathrooms are fully stocked with towels, bath mats and each offers body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There are pool towels stored in the hall linen closet.

There are Smart TV’s in each bedroom as well as a 66” smart TV in the living room.
