Every property has some unusual features. We have tried to eliminate as many of these as possible. Below you’ll find a list of HELP’s we trust will make your visit more enjoyable.
You will find business cards with the property address, our phone numbers and QR Code on the back for easy access to our property website. Cell coverage can be sketchy here so connect to the house WiFi early for good coverage. Use the network name and password provided in your “Welcome Letter”.
Printed directions for using the drip coffee maker are at the coffee bar. There are child safety locks located in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The kitchen ceiling fan has its own remote and should be on the white shelf at the coffee bar. We suggest parties of four or more run the dishwasher every evening.
Cell reception is weak, but there is a land line phone just inside the master bedroom. The master bedroom ceiling fan and ceiling light operate via remote located just inside the bedroom door. The power switch for the master ceiling fan is located on the wall. It is labeled, and should always be switched ON.
Light switches are labelled for your convenience. The down lights at the bay window have a few seconds’ delay before they turn on.
The ceiling lights in the garage are motion activated.
In the lanai a power box by the sliding door contains the on/off switch for the bistro lights. The pool light is controlled inside the house with a switch by the patio door. While in the pool and fire pit areas please use only paper and plastic dishes and cups.
In addition to the normal equipment you'd expect to find, there’s also an Epson ET-4760 networked WiFi printer located on the counter for your use.
If cooking is a passion there are potted Herbs on the patio that you are welcome to use in your cooking. There is a blue Weber GENESIS E-335 Gas Grill with grilling tools for your use. If by chance you run out of LP gas there’s a new tank just inside the back garage door on the floor. Firewood for your first pit fire will be provided. Fire pit tools are located just inside the back garage door. If you need additional firewood there is a roadside self-serve firewood stand located approximately 1.5 miles (5 minutes) from the house at 6023 Cofer Road, Spring Hill, FL (GPS).
The flower beds in the front of the house are planted with various flowers to attract Humming Birds, Monarch Butterflies, and various other pollinators.
Most electrical switches are labeled explaining what they operate. The window coverings throughout are top-down, bottom-up no cord pleated shades. On the back patio door there is one large vertical shade controlled by a wand unit on the right side. There are TV remotes in each room with a TV. The house temperature is controlled by a preprogrammed NEST thermostat, but feel free to adjust as needed. There are night lights in the kitchen and hall bathroom. Beside all the beds are night stands with 115 VAC and USP receptacles and reading lamps. The pool filter runs daily from noon to 9:00 PM and is serviced every Wednesday by a technician. The lawn is cut by a service when needed. The irrigation system runs on Wednesday from 3:00 AM to 4:30 AM. There are four “dusk to dawn” lights that automatically illuminate the front yard.
Privacy/Security for the patio door at the lanai is provided by a large, motorized shade. This shade is controlled by a switch wand located on the right side of the door.
